He gave her a small smile and strode up to the counter with long strides. She was rather easy on the eyes and had an amazing figure, from what he could tell from where she stood. Her (h/c) hair was styled cutely, with a floral clip, and her skin was smooth and creamy as porcelain. "Hello! Welcome to the Cat's Cafe!" she greeted, her (e/c) eyes sparkling with mirth and genuine happiness. The girl at the counter smiled warmly at him. Some sort of connection had been made by his boss to this cafe, and he wasn't sure how this place, so friendly and warm, would be connected to something so gruesome and disturbing as murder. He'd hoped that he wouldn't receive this job, but when one man is the best detective in all of the country, it seemed that he would get all the hard jobs. The detective had just been hired to investigate a string of seemingly random murders in this large city. He noticed how happy the people were, unlike his currently somber mood. The tables and chairs were a soft cream color and people were milling about, drinking coffee or other beverages and sampling various goods and pastries, typical cafe things. It seemed like such a nice little place, with light green and white stripes, and a matching tile pattern on the floor.
